Michal Orlowski is 4wd European Champion
With the 2wd portion of the 2015 EP Offroad European Championships in the UK over with, and Lee Martin claiming the title, the race moved on to the 4wd class. In qualifying it was young Polish Schumacher star Michal Orlowski who would take the top spot with two TQs to end on tie break with former World Champion and Associated driver Neil Cragg. Serpent lead driver Jorn Neumann would end up 3rd in front of double EOS Champion Lee Martin for Yokomo fourth and David Ronnefalk for HB in 5th.
In the opening final of 3, Michal would make a mistake that would allow Jorn Neumann through to the front while Cragg had some electrical issues that sorted themselves as quickly as they appeared. Neumann wouldn’t be passed as he took A1 from Lee Martin and David Ronnefalk with Orlowski and Cragg 4th and 5th respectively. In A2 Orlowski would not make a repeat of his A1 mistake and stayed at the front to win despite huge pressure from Cragg who would take the runner up spot with Neumann rounding out the top 3 with one leg to run. It all went down to A3 and Orlowski determined to claim his inevitable first big title kept his head down and was able to take the race win from Neumann although it was Cragg who again put the most pressure on the Pole but unfortunately crashed with less than 3 laps to go in A3 allowing Jorn through and that was how the overall results would end up as well. Orlowski European Champion, Jorn Neumann 2nd on tie break with Neil Cragg who would take 3rd.
