Losi Baja Rey 1/10th 4WD RTR desert truck
Horizon Hobby have introduced the new Losi Baja Rey 1/10th scale 4WD ready-to-run desert truck. The vehicle builds on a Baja-inspired 4WD chassis with long-travel suspension. The foundation consists of a 3mm, hard-anodised aluminium chassis plate that is integrated with a realistic roll cage made of super-tough composite material. To this it adds a long-travel, independent front suspension and 4-link live rear axle that look and function exactly like their full-scale counterparts. The long-travel shocks are soaking up the energy from big bumps and jumps and they also feature threaded shock bodies with adjustment collars to fine-tune the pre-load settings of the coil-over springs. External bump stops provide plush landings on the hardest surfaces.
The single-speed transmission, as well as the front and centre diffs, are sealed against the elements and engineered to handle the abuse of a high-output brushless motor and punishing terrain and module 1 gears further increase the durability of this desert beast. Waterproof electronics like receiver, servo and speed controller allow for action in every weather condition with the Dynamite Fuze 3800kv brushless motor and 130A speed controller being 2S to 3S LiPo-compatible for speed of up to 70km/h. Also included is a genuine Spektrum DX2E transmitter with AVC technology for improved vehicle control and the truck is rounded out by a 4-piece bolt-on panel bodyshell in two colour variants.
