RC Maker ‘The Hub’

A manufacturer that has been making huge inroads lately, RC Maker has launched ‘The Hub’, a digital paddock for their SP2 1:10 Electric Touring Car. On foot of the signing of Ronald Volker and then a race debut that achieved an ETS podium, the Hub is available for now for PC and Apple, with an Android version on the way. As a platform users can utilise it to build the kit, learn the adjustments, keep your setup sheets, and open the official manual – all in one place, on your iPhone. Build Bags A to J following an interactive step-by-step guide through twelve chapters. Tick each action, resume where you left off, and filter steps or carbon, aluminium or steel chassis. Parts lists, notes, tips and exploded views sit next to every step. Watch the official build with Chris Mitchell, bag by bag. On Adjustments like Ride height, droop, camber, up-stop and more, the kit baselines are explained one setting at a time, with the “which way” notes from the SP2 manual. Flex, rockers, ARB, steering lock, springs and FDR charts are included as in-app guides. You can also create or import an SP2 sheet, save your race and practice setups, export PDF, and browse community sheets by surface, indoor/outdoor, grip and weather. An account is only required to save and publish – you can still fill a sheet and download the PDF as a guest.

Power HD servos for Top Polish Nitro racer Rozycki

Top Polish International Nitro Touring Car racer Jakub Rozycki is the latest driver set to represent leading servo manufacturer Power HD as part of his race program. A team driver for Italian manufacturer Capricorn, the young racer is the 2025 Euro Nitro Series Champion and just missed out on a podium finish at the EFRA European Championship that same year. Racing at the recent IFMAR World Championship in Gubbio, Italy, earlier this month. Rozycki claimed his biggest accolade todate by making his first Worlds Final debut eventually finishing P9. Rozycki will run Power HD’s GTS-2 (180mm) servo in his Capricorn C04.

Todd wins Spanish eBuggy Championship Round 3

Mugen Seiki driver David Todd has won the latest round of the AECAR Spanish 1:8 eBuggy National Championships. Racing at Valladolid, host of the 2025 European eBuggy Championship, and the penultimate round of the 4 round National Championship attracted 40 drivers, and it was Todd who would secure the overall TQ. The 2024 Euro B Champion was fastest in 4 of the 5 rounds of which 3 counted. Fastest in Q4, Adrian Pariente put his Sparko second on the grid ahead of his brother Daniel’s Tekno. In the triple finals while Todd took the opener, it was Adrian Pariente who took A2 ahead of Todd pushing the decider to A3 which Todd duly won by over 5-seconds. After a DNF in A1, a pair of third places saw Daniel Pariente complete the podium. Todd would also take the win in eTruggy.

US batteries brand Team EAM, has a new 488mAh 70C LiPo which has been engineered for 1:28 racing and designed to give maximum performance in the smallest package. Measuring 45mm x 24mm x 13mm and weighing ~22 grams, it is built around their proven ML Graph-X technology from the world champion-proven 1:12 and 1:10 scale battery line. Featuring 2mm connector sockets, this new addition delivers the same focus on lowest internal resistance and highest power output but now in micro scale.

2026 MonTech New York Grand Prix – Entries Open

Following some delays due to technical gremlins, entries for the eighth running of the MonTech New York Grand Prix are now finally open. Established as one of the highlights on the annual American electric onroad racing calendar, registration for this year’s event has switched to the LiveRC platform and came be made here. Taking place on October 15-18 at the 360v2 indoor track in New Rochelle, New York, the race schedule will see drivers compete for top honours over a total of 10 different classes. Last year it was Awesomatix’s Sam Isaacs who did the double winning both 1:12 Mod and Touring Car with NYGP debutant Lucas Urbain heading the international challenge. The French touring car ace would claim the final step on the Mod TC podium behind the race’s big 2024 winner Kemp Anderson. The vision of long time 1:12 racer and multiple World Championship finalist Donny Lia, the NYGP is the nearest thing RC will get to having a race in Time Square, the centre of the City That Never Sleeps just a 20-minute train ride from the track. Counting multiple World Champions Marc Rheinard (2022 NYGP Winner), Ronald Volker (2019 NYGP Winner), Alexander Hagberg, reigning 1:12 Stock World Champion Max Mächler, and Ollie Payne as previous participants, the 105 X 48 feet 360V2 is one of the biggest indoor tracks in the US. Red RC will be making the trip state side to cover the event for our third consecutive year.

Xbility Hybrid Flex Chassis with Servo Mount

Announcing a number of new options parts for its range of cars, 1:28 World Champion manufacturer Xbility is introducing this Hybrid Flex Chassis with Servo Mount. The hybrid chassis combines a steel chassis section with a carbon chassis section, bolted together. The torsional flex can be adjusted by adding or removing screws, allowing the desired level of chassis flex to be controlled.

Available in 0.7, 0.8, and 0.9 mm as sets of 2 pieces, these softer sway bars increase mechanical grip and smooth out chassis response, ideal for technical, low-traction tracks where extra chassis roll improves cornering without making the car feel nervous. Each sway bar mark is marked with tabs corresponding to the .mm thickness for easy identification.

T-Works is now offering these Aluminium Rear Hubs for the RC8 B4.2 1:8 Buggy platform from Team Associated. The 7075 T6 aluminium rear hub carrier has enhanced strength and hardness, improving durability and adjustability. The top of the wheel mount is connected to the hub with carbon fibre plates which feature multiple adjustments holes for fine tuning. Matched with different embedded adjustment blocks, it can be adjusted according to different track conditions and the performance requirements of the buggy to optimise handling and stability.
