Pesenti takes Rd2 of Swiss 1/8th Nats
Last weekend saw the 2nd round of the Swiss Championship take place in Wallisellen, near Zurich, the same track which held the EC-B 1/8 in the 1998. Our man Mattia Pesenti was in action at the event, as he was in round 1, driving his Novarossi powered Motonica and has provided us with this report.
We started with the qualifying rounds on Saturday after dinner, I had some problems with my engine so I had to change it. I did my best round in the last round, until that I was 7th and after the last round I was in the Top 4.

TOP38 Final:
Just after 5-10 minutes after the start Geisendorf had some problems with the clutch system so Pethoud took the lead in front of me, Diamantogiannis and Martinelli. Diamantogiannis trying passing me made a mistake and Pethoud also made a mistake destroying his Kyosho. So the battle was between me and Martinelli Luca, we were very close and I had some difficulties to keep him behind me, but due to a driving mistake Martinelli lost almost half a lap. I finished my race without any mistake while Martinelli also had some problems in the pits at the end of the race but came home 2nd with Tom Knorn in 3rd. The first victory of Motonica in Switzerland!!!!!!Top5 Final TOP38:
