2015 SARDA Electric On-road Nationals – Report
The South African On-Road Electric National Championship recently concluded and in Touring Modified Jason Hillcoat (Xray) managed to defend his 2013 and 2014 titles with consistent performance in the season making it three in a row with his teammate Deon Gove (Xray) achieving the vice-championship title. Antonio Caroli (Xray) would grab the final podium spot from Anderton Smith (Yokomo) in fourth.

The competition during the season in the 13.5T Touring Boosted class was tough with only ten points separating the top 6 drivers. It was Antonio Caroli (Xray) who managed to take the title at the last round with Anderton Smith (Yokomo) snatching the runner-up spot.

17.5T Touring Boosted saw a great battle between Willem Janse van Rensburg, Dillon du Plooy, Jacques Myburgh, Jonathan Wilken and Juan Landman all season. Finally it was Jacques Myburgh (Xray) who managed to win the championship title with Dillon du Plooy (Xray) coming in second.

Claudio Vieira dominated the 21.5T Stock Touring season with his Xray to take the championship with two events two spare. There was a tight battle for the remaining podium position with the vice-champion title eventually going to Juan Wessels.

Xray teammates Shaun Schutte, Willie du Plooy and André Greeff had a great battle throughout the season in the 1/12th 10.5T class but it was Wayne Joelson (Yokomo) who managed to win the championship with three wins in a row. André Greeff would be able to take the vice-championship for the second year running.

Jacques Myburgh dominated the 13.5T FWD season with his Team Powers FWD to claim the 2015 championship from Eugene Wessels and Fanie Viljoen Sr.
