Tobias Kerler teams up with Ielasi Tuned

Ielasi Tuned have announced the signing of Germany’s Tobias Kerler to their team. The ARC driver already used the Novarossi-based Ielasi Tuned engines in the past and for 2016 he will utilise the company’s ITD.21-9CL WC Edition engine at races such as the European Championships and all ENS events.

Ielasi Tuned have introduced their all-new .21 Rally engines in the form of the 9CL and the 7CL. The 9 and 7-port long stroke engines both feature new cooling heads with Ielasi Tuned logos, rear ceramic bearings, new design conrods and they are hand-modified by Daniele Ielasi himself. The EFRA-legal engines complement the IFMAR-legal 5CL GT Rally and they become available very soon.

New Ielasi Tuned on-road & truggy engines

Ielasi Tuned have two new Novarossi-based nitro engines available for 1/8th on-road and truggy applications. Starting with the .21-9CL WC Edition, the 9-port long stroke on-road engine was used by Daniele Ielasi at the 2015 IFMAR World Championships in Brazil and it features a ceramic main bearing and a redesigned cooling head. The special edition engine was modified by hand to ensure the highest possible performance. The second new engine is the .25-7CL long stroke 7-port truggy engine. The power mill offers a displacement of 4.04cc and like the on-road engine it is hand-tuned by Daniele himself to extract as much performance as possible. Both engines are on show at this week’s Nuremberg International Toy Fair and they will become available shorty after.

Ielasi Tuned have announced the soon release of two new nitro engines. First up is the .21-9CL World Championship long stroke on-road engine as it was used by Daniele Ielasi at the 2015 IFMAR World Championships in Brazil. The second new power plant is a .25 truggy engine, with the specification of both are still to be announced. Both engines will be on show at the forthcoming Nuremberg Toy Fair and they will become available shorty after.

Loran Whiting joins Ielasi Tuned

Ielasi Tuned have announced the signing of US female racer Loran Whiting to their team. Loran will use the Novarossi-based Ielasi Tuned engines in her 2016 campaign that will include all major nitro on-road classes including 1/8th, 1/10th 200mm and 1/8th GT. Her first official outing with the new engines will be the 1/8th GT World Grand Prix Race in a couple of weeks time.

Ielasi Tuned IDT.21-4CQ buggy engine

Ielasi Tuned have introduced the IDT.21-4CQ 4-port “square” engine. The company’s most powerful off-road engine so far is designed to offer great power at both low and high RPM while the 4-port setup makes for a linear power output and low fuel consumption. The engine comes with a R7 conrod which is machined from light aluminium and ultrasonic-checked for improved reliability. Other features include a selected and matched piston/liner assembly for best possible compression and durability while the carburettor used is a reverse-type Novarossi offering to provide high idle stability, precise tuning and higher mid to top range power. The package is rounded out by a new cooling head with etched Ielasi Tuned logo.
