ARC R8S-21 1/8th EP onroad pan car

Based on the successful R8S On-Road Pan Car platform, the new R8S-21 from ARC incorporates a number of refinements and option parts for even greater performance out of the box. The main chassis has been redesigned for the R8S-21 with the slots removed to improve chassis rigidity and handling with the original chassis linkage bars have been replaced with 2.0mm chassis flex plates for increased overall stability and traction. The optional body-shell mount plate is now standard and the front droop is now fully adjustable on the R8S-21. Also standard on the R8S-21 is the steel rear main shaft for increased strength and durability. The R8S-21 now only accepts standard 2S LiPo batteries with 2 different layouts available, laid down side-by-side or stood-up along the centre. Both layouts work extremely well but offer different handling characteristics to suit your driving style and track conditions.

Yokomo YD-2 RWD drift chassis

The YD-2 from Yokomo has undergone a major evolution, with the brand new machine bearing the name of “Z”, which can be said to be the final form. It is equipped with a new 3-split transmission case on the shape-up main chassis and will start as a new standard machine. A new integrated bulkhead is used around the front to improve the left-right balance of the steering and improve operability and the new upper deck is compatible with slide racks as standard in the kit, and steering characteristics suitable for various situations can be obtained with minimal changes. The gear case of the 3-gear transmission has also been newly designed, and the maintainability has been greatly improved by dividing it into three parts. Since you can access the differential simply by removing the cap on the rear side, you can easily handle even ball differentials that are frequently maintained. In addition, the motor position can be selected from 13 stages by rotating the motor mount, making it easy to obtain the balance of the centre of gravity according to the road surface, from low mount to high mount. With 3 gears, the throttle response is outstanding, and combined with the rear traction produced by the supple main chassis, it is a very capable machine.

Infinity 1/10 IF14-II FWD

Having teased the release of their new FWD chassis, Creation Model have introduced the all new Infinity 1/10 IF14-II FWD. Sporting a compact steering system that has been specially designed to achieve the ideal front-rear weight balance. The heaviest items of the car such as the steering servo, motor and battery are laid out towards the front section as much as possible. In addition, a dedicated balancing weight is installed inside the front bumper. By having a layout with the battery on the right hand side of the chassis and the steering servo and other electronics on the left side, an ideal left-right weight balance is achieved. The car has excellent throttle response thanks to the front drive belt being as short as possible while adopting a mechanical layout that takes weight balance into consideration. The front and rear suspension parts are taken from the race proven IF14-2 and offer a wide range of tuning and setups possibilities with the gear differential, front drive shaft and centre pulley are the same as IF14-2.

Element RC Enduro Builder’s Kit 2

Element RC have updated the Enduro Builder’s Kit 2 by including their GKSTM shock towers in front and rear. Their shock mount inserts provide the ability to adjust shock angle, droop and vehicle ride height without affecting spring preload. Matched up with the shock mount inserts are their race-proven, ultra-smooth Factory Team bronze shocks with black caps and collars, perfect for traversing rough terrain. Along with the updated shock towers, they’ve included the GKS aluminium track bar mount that is bolted directly to the frame rails. This makes the front suspension more rigid and flex-free with a more precise steering feel. Also included are updated Factory Team 12.3-inch wheelbase high-clearance links with black nitrate finish and low-friction Delrin pivot balls, which are more resistant to abrasion and friction wear. You get all these new features along with our revolutionary Stealth X transmission with the ability to adjust the front and rear drive ratios independently across three different levels. In the box you get both the 5.7% and 11.83% overdrive gears, and available separately is a one-to-one ratio option for those who wish to drive the front and rear equally. The behind-the-axle (BTA) steering greatly improves approach angle and front end clearance, making rough terrain much easier to handle.
