Team Orion CRF Exhaust Systems

Team Orion CRF Exhaust Systems

We showed you a spyshot of the new #2647 CRF exhaust pipe from Team Orion a month ago and now we have the first full pics of the exhaust set that that pipe comes in as well as the individual items. These new EFRA approved pipes are available in 2 different sets, one has a short conical manifold for high speed and the other a long conical manifold for high torque. These pipe sets are a must for the CRF .12 WASP engines and it was this pipe set that allowed Adrien Bertin to achieve his 107kmh at the Melzo track in Italy. Expect to see these items in the shops very soon.

CRF Engine Tuning parts

CRF Backplate

Around the time of the Nurnberg toy fair we wrote about some of the new items from CRF and now these parts are about to be released to the public. Amongst these revolutionary products is the CRF Back plate (shown above) that improves the mixture transfer to the cylinder and provides better cooling from the bottom of the crankcase. Also being released by CRF is the double inlet system, that works on all motors and prevents the engine getting too lean or rich, depending on what direction corner you take, by giving the carburettor a constant amount of fuel from both sides of the engine.

Other items include a set of 3 exhaust spacers, in 1, 2 and 3mm thicknesses, that allow you to fine tune the length of your fixed CRF, or Mielke, exhaust system as well a large venturi that gives your CRF engine more torgue and better fuel economy and finally a new conical combustion chamber that is meant to give your CRF engine an extra 1.5kmh as well as faster top speed and acceleration.

Corally RDX Phi

Corally USA have released more details on the 2 different specs, European and US, that the RDX Phi will be made available in. The European version has been designed for 5 cells and comes with a front one-way, rear differential and 3 degree caster blocks, while the US version will be a 6-cell chassis and comes with front differential, rear differential, 6 degree caster blocks as well as harder silver springs. Whats interesting is that Corally haven’t followed other manufacturers in making a thicker chassis for their US spec kits, perhaps its already stiff enough?
