Yeah Racing release new CC02 option parts

Coming from Yeah Racing and made for Tamiya’s popular CC02 chassis line are new stainless steel centre driveshafts as well as front, rear and centre skid plates. Starting with the heavy-duty front and rear centre driveshafts, the set is a direct replacement for the standard plastic items and using them will greatly reinforce the stressed centre drivetrain for greater durability on the trail. The telescopic driveshafts are black coated for wear and looks and they come including mounting hardware.

Yokomo YZ-2 CAL3/DTM3 graphite rear shock tower

Yokomo have announced the release of their new multi-hole graphite rear shock tower that was specially designed for the YZ-2CAL3/DTM3 line of cars. Instead of just three mounting positions, as found on the standard version, the updated tower allows for a total of five mounting positions to help fine tune the set-up in all conditions. Another feature is that there are now two adjustable height mounting positions for the rear wing to fine-tune the aerodynamics. The shock tower is machined from high-grade 4mm carbon fibre and it will hit stores very soon.

Fenix G56-VLink 235 standard LiPo conversion kit

Fenix have released a standard size LiPo conversion kit for their G56-VLink 235mm Pro10 pan car kit. The set allows to use standard-sized LiPo battery packs in order to change the weight balance further towards the rear which helps with traction in lower grip conditions. The set includes a new lower pod plate as well as two upper chassis plates that also utilise the possibility to run a rubber O-ring as the battery retainer. Also new is a carbon fibre 30mm fan mount that was designed to be fixed to the rear shock mounting plate.

Tamiya M-06 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia kit

Tamiya have released their new Volkswagen Karmann Ghia kit based on the popular M-06 M-class chassis. The Karmann Ghia was a stylish coupé based upon the same platform as the legendary Beetle. Its body was designed by Italian firm Ghia and manufactured by the German company Karmann. The polycarbonate body in this replica sits on top of the Tamiya RWD M-06 chassis. The M-06 chassis features a rear-mounted motor, rear-drive setup and features a longitudinally-mounted battery pack, with R/C equipment positioned on either side for optimum balance and a low centre of gravity. 4-wheel double wishbone suspension uses metal-plated wheels, equipped with 60D radial tires at the front and 60D super grip tyres at the rear. In addition, a 3-piece steering linkage offers nimble handling response.

TWT tweak control centre

TWT from Thailand have introduced their new tweak control centre, an acrylic plate and carbon fibre rod that help to eliminate tweak from touring car chassis. The acrylic base plate measures 290x86x18mm and it acts as a sturdy base for the chassis to rest on, while the 15mm diameter carbon fibre rod helps to press down the chassis on its shock towers to get the chassis and topdeck aligned straight while tightening the top deck screws. The rod features milled out windows to make way for the main gears of both mid and rear motor touring cars while the base plate is of a two-sided design with trays for smaller parts on the opposite site. The tool set was developed in cooperation with 2020 IFMAR 1/10th 200mm Nitro Touring Car World Champion, Meen Vejrak and it is available in several colour variants now.

Xtra Speed SCX10 II & XS02/01 bumper & servo mount

Xtra Speed have introduced their new aluminium front bumper and servo mount for the Axial SCX10 II and Xtra Speed XS02 and XS01 trail trucks. The mount relocates the steering servo to the most forward position possible, optimising weight balance and improving performance over rough terrain. The mount is available in black or silver anodising and including mounting hardware.

Rêve D aluminium spring retainers

Coming soon from Rêve D are three new UP series aluminium spring retainers for RWD drift cars chassis. Available as 0mm, +2mm and +4mm variants, the different height of the spring cups allows to adjust the position of the spring in relation to the shock body which has an influence on the lateral grip available with the +2mm and +4mm retainers increasing side bite without affecting overall traction. The cups also allow to use springs of different lengths which further helps to fine-tune traction available while the outer ring ensures the spring stays in place securely, preventing excessive vibration. The cups are machined from high-quality aluminium, they sport a black surface finish, machined silver edge details and white laser-engraved markings. Shipping of the spring retainers, that come as pairs, will start mid-April.
