In the 45 minute final Bruno and Miguel started from 3rd and 4th respectively and in the beginning stages Miguel quickly moved into the lead, constantly opening a gap on Bruno. In order to save tyres and to keep the car in one piece Miguel started to drive very conservatively, eventually falling back to 3rd place only 2 seconds behind 2nd placed Ricardo Monteiro (TLR).
