Knowing the static weight distribution inside your RC car provides you with a solid basis for optimising your set-up. With the Ruddog Bluetooth RC wheel load scales, you can easily find out the individual wheel loads and distribution ratios and help you adjust the placement of your electronics or spring load as required. Schumacher Indoor Masters Rd4 – Report

This past weekend was the fourth round of the Worksop series, entries were reduced slightly for this round to help try and keep everyone distanced and safe. The race format was round by round qualifying, with the best 2 results from 4 rounds of qualifying counting towards the final position. The Worksop team once again didn’t disappoint providing a fantastic track layout for this event. Schumacher’s new signing Daniel Kobbevik had flown over from Norway, he did great the day before at the Silverstone series on carpet and also attended this race to learn his new rides. In 2wd qualifying, it was Neil Cragg who dominated proceedings by taking TQ in all 4 rounds, therefore he would line up on pole. Ben Smith would be 2nd and Daniel Kobbevik would line up an impressive 3rd.

Ricardo Monteiro joins Xray Factory Team

Xray have announced that one of the top Portuguese drivers Ricardo Monteiro is joining their Factory Team to race the XB8 platform. The multiple Portuguese national champion said, ‘Joining Xray is exactly like coming back home. I had my first r/c contract with them more than a decade ago when I was really young and the connection stayed ever since. I wouldn’t be where I am today without all the experiences I was provided with their support and I always felt like I owed it to them to return one day and give it my absolute best. With the next year being a Euros and Worlds year, and on territories that I already have some experience, I felt like it was a no brainer to jump on board with them and help in anyway Can’t wait to get on track and start creating new and exciting memories with all the Xray family!’

JConcepts metal car stand

The JConcepts metal car stand is perfect for the 1/8th or 1/10th racer looking to add a little sturdiness to their racing program. The all-aluminium formed and cut piece, designed by JConcepts, has a unique shape, cut-outs for handles and features laser etched logos for identification. The item stands tall and keeps the wheels off the ground for an array of vehicles. Included in the design, the upper deck has pre-cut holes into the material to act as a shock stand for 1/8th or 1/10th off-road shocks. Jonathan Skidmore joins Xray Factory Team

Xray have announced that one of the top UK drivers Jonathan Skidmore is joining their Factory Team to race the XB2, XB4, and XB8 platforms. JConcepts Swagger 4wd pre-mounted front tire

JConcepts’ Swagger 4wd front tire has a multitude of heights and angular ribs for corner speed, consistency and straight-line tracking ability. Now, the Swagger is available pre-mounted for serious racers lusting for a professionally mounted package. The ultra-low-profile carcass keeps a 4wd buggy very predictable and consistent in high-grip conditions while pointing the vehicle in the correct direction. JConcepts has added side-wall ribs in a circular pattern to the exterior of the tire to support high-grip racing. The pink compound marked with 2 pink dots on the tire represents a new compound for JConcepts, a medium soft material with good wear characteristics. 2022 April Fools Classic – Announcement

Eaton’s Intermountain RC Raceway in Salt Lake City Utah have announced the dates for the 2022 Proline April Fools Classic, running from the 1st through to the 3rd. Entries are open from February 22nd here with the race open to 4wd, 2wd and truck in Stock, Pro Stock and Modified.
