Milansport Aero Disc for 1:12 Hotrace Tyres

Poland’s Milansport has created Aero Discs intended for Hotrace Tyres’ 1:12 range of tyres.  After much testing and trying a variety of materials in different thicknesses, the final design for the discs are made out of o.5mm carbon.   Designed to fit the front rims with bearing without play between the spokes of the rim.   The rear discs are mounted with wheels mounting holes, which it should be noted makes the rear 1mm wider.  During extensive testing on different tracks in different classes drivers found the use of the discs to make the car more stable, more on-power steering and less air resistance.

OfficinaRC Smart Gluer Tool

OfficinaRC has released this Smart Gluer Tool for the 1:10 Onroad racer which is designed as a device that allows you to glue the shoulder of the tyre perfectly in the simplest way possible.   Small in size and made from a solid aluminium block, the Smart Gluer Tool is made completely in Italy. Its exclusive design despite its small size allows it to accommodate a comfortable retractable support in the case which can be used to support the glue nozzle and allow perfect administration on the shoulder.   The smart Gluer Tool is battery powered (not included) which allows it to be transported in the hold even for air travel.  The use is very simple, place the rubber in the hexagonal adapter in the centre of the Smart Gluer Tool and tighten the rubber using a knob screw. Once powered on the rubber will start to rotate at the right speed to be able to apply the glue.  To be even more precise you can use the “Glue Holder” which is housed in the case and which can be positioned using a screw in order to have greater precision in depositing the glue.  The Smart Gluer Tool is supplied in a semi-rigid bag made exclusively by MonacoRC which contains a shaped foam to accommodate the device.

JConcepts S2 Body for CAT L1R

JConcepts has introduced the S2 body for Schumacher’s popular CAT L1R 4WD chassis.  The new shell has some familiar features but rolled together with a low-profile stance.  With 2015 IFMAR Championship credibility backing this design, the S2 includes the Carpet/Turf/Dirt rear wing to help deliver results on any racing circuit.  Slammed overall height allows the S2 to whisk through the turns with a low centre of mass while the progressive cab design provides plenty of front-end force for superior balance and steering.  A channeled roof directs the flow through the centre of the body while also increasing the rigidity of cockpit.  The dual side-window design that has become famous on the JConcepts bodies remains to bring a traditional feel to the layout.
