Baru RC NB/T48 Rear Chassis Brace

Top Italian Offroad racer and factory Tekno driver Marco Baruffolo has launched his own brand, Baru RC, with its first product being a rear chassis brace for the NB48 2.0/2.1 and NT48 2.0. Machined from Ergal 7075 and black anodised, it gives more rear stability, ensuring more steering and allows you to carry more speed around the corner. It also gives more stability when landing jumps.

Contact RC Protective Wheel Disks

New from Contact RC Racing Tyres are these protective wheel disks for their range of Oval and SupaStox tyres.  The cool looking disks are glued by the customer on the external face of the wheel to protect the foam from the high rigours of oval racing.  The disk will help prevent tyre chunking on side impacts.  They are included in all JM tyres.

Schumacher announce Martin signing

Schumacher has announced a key driver signing for 2023 with the news Lee Martin is joining their 1:10 offroad program.  The IFMAR World Championship podium finisher, EFRA European, EOS and BRCA Champion joins Michal Orlowski and Broc Champlin to give the British manufacturer a formidable offroad line-up for 2023.  With Martin departing long time chassis sponsor Yokomo at the end of 2022, he joins Schumacher in place of Joern Neumann who has moved to Sworkz.  Announcing this high profile signing, Schumacher said, ‘Lee will add some great speed and experience to the team and we are delighted to welcome him to the #SchumacherFamily’.   The highly experienced British driver added, “I am excited to be joining Schumacher Racing in 2023 and beyond. With some very fast cars and a great team, I am proud to be part of the iconic UK brand. I look forward to working closely with the engineers to continue the rapid development of the products. Fyrrework to power Mackman

Front running British 1:12 racer Adam Mackman’s 2023 campaign is to be powered by Fyrrework batteries.  The Schumacher team driver, who claimed an overall podium in the LMP12 National Championship last year, will be using both the Fyrrework 7400mAh 1S 3.7V 200C & 8500mah 1s 3.7v 130c carbon ECP plus lipo in his LMP12 and GT12 rides.  Mackman has already been involved with Fyrrework in testing the cells with his feedback key in choosing the right cells.

Sweep Racing Alligator 1:10 Buggy Rear tyre

Sweep Racing has released a new 1:10 Buggy rear tyre, the Alligator.  The tyre has been developed for carpet and astro turf track use.  Its low profile carcass design and optimised lug pattern offers the best driving feeling on the carpet track.  Long-life compounds are available in Yellow, Gold and Pink with open cell foam.

Reds Racing Rotating Back Plate

Having teased first details just after Christmas of ‘a revolutionary backplate’ they are describing as ‘a true masterpiece of engineering’, Italy’s Reds Racing has released an exploded CAD image of their Rotating Back Plate.  While no benefits are outlined,  they said, ‘We will release in the next months a revolutionary backplate that will be sold separately only as an optional part for Reds Racing engines. The new Rotating Backplate is a true masterpiece of engineering.  The only thing that you cannot expect from Reds is to experience ordinary emotions.  More info to come soon….’.  It will be interesting to find out the theory and benefits of this new concept.

Grainger returns to Schumacher for 2023

Schumacher Racing has announced that Chris Grainger is returning to the team for 2023.  The veteran British Touring Car driver previously raced with the British manufacturer from 2008 to the end of 2014 and in that time made the A-Main at the 2012 World Championship as well as picking up three British National titles.  Switching to Team Associated after his first stint with Schumacher, he would join Awesomatix for the 2020 season representing them for the following three seasons.  Announcing the news Schumacher said, ‘In what is the first of a few new exciting driver signings, we are extremely happy to welcome back long time Touring Car racer Chris Grainger to the team. Chris spent an extremely successful period at Schumacher, winning many BRCA Touring car titles, and became an IFMAR Worlds A finalist. Chris is back to compete with us again, this time with the Mi8. JConcepts ’20th Anniversary’ Apparel

2023 sees JConcepts celebrate 20 years in business and to mark the mile stone the Florida based company are kicking off the year with a release of ’20th Anniversary’ apparel.  The “arrow up” holding shape of the new logo design points in both directions while centring off on the 20th lettering and JConcepts logo.  The strong colours surround the design while the border keeps thing tidy and help make an anniversary statement from 2003 to 2023.  The stealth black shirt is made in 100% cotton while the stealth black pull-over sweatshirt is made in 50/50 fabric with both items featuring a smaller version of the logo design on the back.  Also in the range are a selection of hats including flat bills, round bills and a beanie.
