New from Alienpower, is an updated version of their Raptor 18TC Pro micro touring car. The all new Raptor 18TC 2010 Spec comes with all alloy optional tuning parts as standard out of the box, including a blue anodised motor mount and alloy suspension blocks front and rear. The Dirt Nitro Challenge took place last weekend at the Nitro Pit in Wittmann, Arizona and young Canadian Hot Bodies team driver, and recent Worlds Warmup top qualifier, Ty Tessmann ended qualifying with 3rd in Pro Truggy and 6th in Pro Buggy. Ty got a clean start in truggy with Jared Tebo and Ryan Cavalieri out in front of him. As the race progressed Ty, Tebo and Maifield battled for the 2nd place as Cavalieri increased his lead to 14 seconds at one point in the race. The first place seemed unreachable for everyone else and it was thought that Cavalieri had the race in the bag but that was not to be. Ty continued to drive smooth, consistent and clean laps and slowly caught Ryan, and after a few bobbles from the leader and traffic for both of them, Ty took over the lead and kept it smooth and consistent to take his first major US win in front of Ryan Cavalieri and Ryan Maifield.

Team Epic have released the IB 5400mAh 14.8V 35C LiPo pack with Deans connector. This ROAR approved pack has the same specs and performance as the TRI20291 IB pack, which only fits Team Losi, but its shorter length allows it to fit in all 1/8th scale buggies and truggies.

The 2010 Norwegian championship took place last weekend in Spydeberg and classes included 1:12 scale, 1:10 modified and 1:10 Pro Stock, with eighty drivers signed up, however only 65 showed up. There was free practice on Friday to get a better grip on the only 1 race old 600m2 carpet, while on Saturday there were 4 rounds of qualifying with a 5th on Sunday as well as driving finals at the end of the day. Adrian Bernsten won all 5 qualifying rounds which meant he took the TQ spot in front of Helge Johannesen in 2nd and Petter Berntsen in 3rd.
