RB International Cup 08 - Announcement

RB have announced the full details on their first RB International Cup that takes place at the end of August on the Torres Vedras track in Portugal.

It’s an opportunity to meet some of you guys and to share a wonderful moment together near Santa Cruz Beach. We’re looking forward you celebrating this race in Torres Vedras 30 minutes far from the Lisboa International Airport. The race take place in August 29th, 30th and 31th and the track will be open all the week! Many infos will be added in this page in the future. We hope to see many of you during this international event!

Team Magic Europe Website launched

We have been informed that the newly formed company Team Magic Europe (TME) has launched their new website (see link below). TME is a sister company of Team Magic Taiwan that handles the Team Magic, HARD and K-Factory products in Europe. “Based on a European stock, Team Magic products will now be available to everybody in Europe, and the website will also allow European customers and retailers to be informed about new products, news about their brands, as well as to having direct access to their European stock.”

JConcepts Bar Codes Racing tires

JConcepts have released their latest 1/10th scale buggy tires, called Bar Codes. The Bar Code design is the freshest tire design seen in the last 10 years of racing development regardless of class and scale. Like the name suggests the alternating bar design combined with the addition of the Y side bars provide uncompromising support for blue and black groove conditions. Available in Blue and Orange compound the Bar Codes are a speciality tire that when matched to the appropriate track can provide amazing results. King Headz RC8 Rear Hub Carriers

King Headz have released this new set of rear hub carriers for the popular Team Associated RC8 buggy. CNC machined from 7075 aircraft grade aluminium, these hubs are designed to increase rigidity and add strength to this area. For looks they have been anodised black and finished off with some machining of certain edges. Sold in a pair.

Novarossi Safe Storage plugs

Novarossi have released this set of 3 safe storage plugs, designed to cover all the openings on the engine. Most racers have multiple engines and this means that 1 or more engines are being stored away somewhere amongst your racing gear. A plastic bag gives some protection but it is not dust & oil proof, and that is where these plastic plugs come in. Placing them over the carburettor, fuel nipple and exhaust port, this closes the engine fully and keeps dust and debris outside the engine, and oil inside the engine. Available for both 3.5cc/4.66cc engines and 2.10cc/2.5cc engines.

Team Orion CRF engines have arrived

We received notice from our site sponsors Team Orion that the first batch of their eagerly awaited range of CRF .12 and .28 engines have just arrived at Kyosho Germany. Xray T2′008 Asphalt Upper Deck set

Xray have released this graphite, asphalt-spec, front and rear upper deck set for the T2’008 touring car. CNC machined from premium grade graphite material, they have been specially designed and optimized for rubber-tire racing conditions. The narrow design provides appropriate torsion and flex, while the elongated profile reduces unwanted tweak in crashes. A new thinner 2mm top deck makes the car easier to drive because it increases overall traction and so Xray recommend using this optional top deck on low-traction tracks, mainly on asphalt but they can be also used on low-traction carpet. Suitable for the T2’008 EU edition only.
