Dario Vita wins Rd1 German Truggy Nats
The first round of the German truggy Nationals was run last weekend in Oberahusen and it attracted a lot of the top stars from the German buggy scene who, it turned out, could easily adapt to the bigger cars. In qualifying it was Mugen racer Marcel Guske that took the TQ from Kyosho racer Daniel Reckward in 2nd, while in 3rd it was Dario Vita for Mugen. Whit the semi finals finished it was onto the final where there was a close battle between Guske and Reckward, which ended in a pitlane crash that badly damaged the car of Reckward, leaving him out of contention, while Guske suffered shock damage which he had to drive the rest of the race with. After the crash it was Vita that took over at the top and who went on to take the win from Guske in 2nd, while 3rd spot fell to Tobias Schellen, making a podium sweep for Mugen.
