Kröber & Henschel win East German Regionals Rd1
The first round of the East German Regionals were run last weekend at the MRC Leipzig track and it was open to both 1/10th and 1/8th scale classes. In the 1/10th scale qualifying it was Kyosho racer Rico Kröber that took the top qualifying spot ahead of team mates Marcus Kreutziger and Franc Pudewell in 2nd and 3rd respectively, while in 1/8th scale it was Serpent driver Mirko Morgenstern on pole followed by Martin Henschel and Toni Gruber. In the 1/10th scale race it was pole man Kröber that could convert his pole into a win, coming home 7 laps ahead of Tom Krägefski in 2nd while 3rd spot went to Marcus Kreutziger. In 1/8th scale Morgenstern had problems and this allowed Henschel to take a clear win ahead of the Serpent pairing of Torsten Müller and Holger Ritter.
