Jerome Renaux takes Belgian 200mm title
The 6th and final round of the Belgian 1/10th scale National Championships took place recently at the MRCC track in Charleroi. The weather on Saturday was cold but dry and following one practice session in the morning there were 2 rounds of qualifying in which Xray driver Jerome Renaux set the pace. Sunday arrived and with it the rain, making the final qualifier useless and so Renaux would start on pole for the wet final. In the final the pole man had a good start and by the 15 minute mark had a one lap advantage over 2nd and it would stay that way till the end with Jerome winning from team mate Stephane Roufosse in 2nd and Manuel Henriet in 3rd. This win sealed the T1 title for Renaux.
