Nydegger takes Rd4 in Switzerland
Last weekend saw the 4th round of the Swiss 1/8th scale Nationals held in Sitterdorf. A nice track with little grip, it was Shasa Lackner who started of fastest in qualifying, taking the first 2 rounds and setting a new lap record of 14.404, and the only one doing 29 laps in 7mins. In the third round Marco Mueller took the pole position away from him and in the last round, Mattia Pesenti took 3rd with a 29 Lap wun with a new lap record of 14.402.

The final started with the sun shining on the track. Mueller was in first, with Shasa and Mattia following him until his engine stopped. Shasa took the lead until 10 minutes before the finish when the rain arrived. Everybody scrambled for tires and Pesenti made it to the front, but with the rain stopping and coming again, it was a lottery. The last lap saw Juerg Nydegger leading with Mattia second, but just 50 meters before the finish line his car stopped because of radio problems and Mueller could take the second spot with Pesenti droped back to 3rd.
