Hot Bodies D8, D8T and Ve8 option parts

Hot Bodies D8, D8T and Ve8 option parts

Hot Bodies have released a number of new options for the D8, D8T and Ve8. Starting with these durable and lightweight billet aluminium rear hub carriers. They come in the standard 0 degree but with the option of moving the hub forward or backward in the arm with finer shims and a narrower overall width. Also new is the front spindle carriers that come with 10 degree caster. This part gives you more upper link adjustments with more mounting holes and by turning the ball vertical. To further strenthen the front end, these billet aluminum front spindles are almost indestructible without gaining a bunch of weight. A new DCJ center drive shaft smoothes out the harsh angle of the front/center drive shaft, which decreases friction giving you more power and increasing the life of that part. Finally for the Ve8 only are front and rear black anodised aluminium skid plates.

Incomplete run nets Pietsch new TQ!

Incomplete run nets Pietsch new TQ!

Despite failing to complete the full 10-minutes in the third round of qualifying Robert Pietsch has bettered his overnight TQ time. This morning’s cooler track conditions lived up to expectations with the majority of the front runners setting down quicker times. Starting the heat in last position Pietsch’s Mugen was on for a 30 lap run but on his last lap the computer announced the race over and the German came into the pits but that was not the case for the No.3 car. Afterwards he said the computer announcements are not very clear in the rostrum but wasn’t too upset about missing out on the 30 lapper saying his 29/9:59.566 was just as good.
