Harper & Hart win BRCA TC Nats Rd2

Round two of this seasons BRCA 1:10 Electric touring car championship took place over the weekend at the superb Cotswold track in picturesque Gloucestershire. In the Super Touring Class Elliott Harper broke Chris Grainger’s strangle hold on the domestic UK series with a TQ and win, while in the Pro Stock class James Hart took the win for Schumacher.

The event was held in blazing sunshine over the two days and making a rare UK appearance was Hot Bodies star Atsushi Hara, Hara took time getting used to the demanding and technical Cotswold track but got quicker in every round as the event progressed, eventually lining up ninth on the grid for the A final. Hara enjoyed his first UK national and finished fifth just behind Colin Price and ahead of his team mate Andy Moore. Harper took three straight wins with his Tamiya to win the Super Touring A final ahead of the Schumacher of Chris Grainger and the Associated TC5 of Olly Jefferies.

In Pro Stock James Hart dominated for Schumacher with the only real challenge coming from his team mate Lee Price who finished second, completing the top three in Pro Stock was Associated’s Chris Slater.
