TOP Racing Rebel 10, 10SS & Photon hybrid steering crank

TOP Racing was recently present at the All Japan Model and Hobby show in Tokyo and showed of an number of new exciting parts. Firstly was the announcement of the Rebel 10 & Rebel 10SS, which are the next in the Rebel pan car series following the earlier release of the Rebel 12. The Rebel 10 is a 1/10 World GT class car while the Rebel 10SS is a 1/10 Oval Class chassis, both are due for a December release. Also on display for the Photon was their new Alloy/Graphite Hybrid Steering Crank. Due for a release in November, this is a stronger optional replacement of the original steering crank. Not only is it more durable, it also gives more accurate steering than the original counterpart. This new alloy/graphite hybrid design simplifies the machining process and is therefore more cost effective, without sacrificing performance and strength.

Dirtz Dialed Partz X-Factory Torx screw kit

Dirtz Dialed Partz X-Factory Torx screw kit

Brian Kinwald and X Factory have released the newest addition to the Dirtz Dialed Partz line, a torx screw kit to fit the X-6 Squared, X-60, and SCX-60. Torx screws are much less likely to strip out and the drivers don’t wear as much either. In some situations, this allows more torque to be applied than with a regular hex head and in other applications, especially on flat-heads coming up from under the chassis, torx screws are easier to remove and rarely strip. The new kit contains 50 total 4-40 torx head screws, the correct size for almost every screw used on the X-6 Squared, a few sizes are not available from the supplier. Another great thing about torx screws is that cap head and flat head use the same driver, T-10. Therefore, you can do most work on the car with just one driver, a real convenience in a crowed pit space.
