Volker & Dankel dominate Italian GP
Last weekend saw the second running of the Italian GP in Brescia, Italy. This year the entries were around 80 drivers, divided in two different classes, Sport (10.5 motor limit) and Open. Top drivers like Ronald Volker, Alexander Hagberg, Eric Dankel and Daniele Ielasi decided to join the race along with Andreas Myrberg, Carsten Anghel and Umberto Pernice. The race format covered three days with Friday for practice and timed practice, Saturday for 4 round of qualification and Sunday for 1 qualification round and three finals.
After qualification the results in the open and sport class were:

While after some really interesting and exciting finals, both in Sport and Open the win was undecided until the last round. In sport the fight was between Dankel and Martini with Baldissarri ready to take advantage of their fight, while in Open class there was a similar situation between Volker, Hagberg and Sala.
