Racers Edge Power Grip nut drivers

Back by popular demand and updated for 2012, the Racers Edge Power Grip nut drivers come complete with rubber grips and in all common standard and metric sizes. Each size is etched into the bit, just like the original series, for quick reference in your pit box. Each size is precision machined with a narrow overall circumference for the best possible fit in any application. Their new ‘Grenade’ grips make for a locked in but comfortable feel for those long wrenching sessions. Available in 5.0mm, 5.5mm, 7.0mm & 8.0mm as well as 3/16″, 1/4″, 11/32″ & 3/8″ versions.

Pro-Line Slash 4×4 ProTrac kit sneak peek

Pro-Line have released a sneak peek of their new Slash 4×4 ProTrac kit. Near completion the kit will consist of new suspension arms and turnbuckles to widen the geometry of the truck for smoother handling. The arms have multiple mounting locations for suspension tuning and the wheels, which will most likely be included, will be the popular ProTrac negative offset matching other popular SC trucks such as SC10 and Losi. The team is really excited as the Prototype truck has performed very well in testing at a variety of tracks. We will have more information when the kit is released.

The ideal LiPo pack for monster trucks, truggys and buggys, it features the newest generation internals with extra low resistance to keep higher voltage for the complete run. Due to the small dimensions of the battery it fits perfectly under most bodies and the battery comes equipped with a convenient “T” connector and comes pre wired with 10 cm long, super flexible 4mm² silicon cable EH Type balance connector.

Tresrey DEX210/410 hop-up parts

Tresrey have released new hop-up parts for the Team Durango DEX210/410 expected to be released in early February. First up is the aluminium RF suspension hanger for more stiffness and durability. Changing “kick-up” angle to 3deg from 2deg which is kit standard makes the rear of the car more stable and gives you more room to set-up.

KO Propo BSx Standard servo & wires

KO Propo have released a number of new items starting with this BSx Standard servo. Based on the successful high-quality RSx series materials is this high end brushless steering servo. Featuring full aluminium gears made from a special Japanese aluminium, double ball bearings and an aluminium middle case machined from one piece of aluminium that incorporates the gear pins and motor being held properly in place. Suitable for all 1/8th and 1/10th scale vehicles it has a speed of 0.06s@60°(7.4V)/0.07s@60°(6.0V) and a torque of 20.0kg-cm(7.4V)/15.0kg-cm(6.0V). Also new is a 7.4V adjuster connector for allowing RSx series, BSx series servos or any high voltage servo to operate at high voltage in an electric vehicle. Finally their is a Servo lead extension wire with an increase to 50 cable core copper wire that allows for more current to be carried through a servo or a receiver battery pack.

MIP ‘Real Shocks’ Bypass1 piston technology

MIP have announced the release of their ‘Real Shocks’ Bypass1 piston technology. Unlike any piston seen before in the RC Industry, this Piston is design inspired by Real Off-Road Vehicles. The basic drawback of a stock piston is that when the shock compresses, all of the oil must be forced through the provided holes at once. Of course, this design works to an extent, but as the shock moves faster and more force is applied the oil simply cant travel through the holes fast enough. Because of this, the shock will actually pack out thus hindering the cars handling. MIP’s Bypass 1 piston regulates the amount of oil transferring from the bottom of the shock to the top depending on the amount of velocity and force the shock is subject too. The allow a car’s shocks to perform unhindered and gives the driver and endless range of adjustability.

Vertigo Performance Tyres stiff rims

Italian company Vertigo performance tyres have released a new rim made with a light polymer with graphite polymer inside. The new rims guarantees top performance during a complete race, without the structural deformation normally caused by hot temperatures. Also with this new material Vertigo have improved the structural design of the wheel to improve upon some minor structural deformation.
