Balestri & Perniciaro win Italian 1/10th champs Rd1

The Miniautodromo Il Lombrico in Milazzo saw the first round of the 2012 Italian 200mm championships. In addition to the local drivers also World and European Champion Robert Pietch showed up and all of them where pleased with ideal weather conditions until the beginning of the wet Expert finals. The rainy conditions meant a DNS for both Francesco Tironi and Luca Redaelli and a late take off for Daniele Ielasi. At the upper half of the grid KM driver Dario Balestri was able to win the 45 minute final some four laps ahead of Giorgo De Felici and Alessio Mazzeo.

In F1 Michele Perniciaro and Guiseppe Bruno fought for the win with the better end for Capricorn driver Michele. The F2 class saw the win of Capricorn driver Stefano Bonsignore only a lap ahead of Generoso Matta and Salvatore Millo.
