Mike Gosvig double at Danish Nats Rd1

Danish Nationals round 1 was held in the very nice track in Glostrup, host for the 2005 Euros. The classes in the Danish nationals are Pro stock, modified and Funny Racing where they drive with Tamiya M05/M06 2wd cars. In this outdoor season, the nationals has chosen 13.5T blinky mode and that was the right speed and all drivers had the same speed around the track. The tires was Sorex 36R with yellow insert, and that was perfect for the weather in Denmark.

30 minutes before the race started there was a lot of rain, but the track was almost dry when qualifying started. In qualifying it was Mike Gosvig who took the TQ in both Pro stock and the modified class. In pro stock he was 9 seconds in front of number 2 while in the modified class Mike was in front by 4 seconds. In funny racing it was Thomas Mortensen on TQ in front of Dennis Hassing and Johnny lyng in third.

In The TC finals Mike Gosvig won by a lap ahead of number 2 in both classes.
