Robert Battle joins Team Yokomo

Team Yokomo Spain have announced the signing of 2012 1/8th off-road champion Robert Battle. The current World Champion, two times European Champion and seven-times consecutive Spanish Champion will run the Yokomo B-Max2 and B-Max4 in 2013. The Spanish driver also announced that he will be using LRP batteries, motors and speed controllers in his rides. This is what Robert had to say about the deal:

I’m really happy to become part of Team Yokomo, they are a great family and there are a lot of well-known drivers in, one of those obviously Masami-San, the RC legend. It will be a long-term learning process due to it is a completely new class for me, I don’t want to put any goal on myself at the moment, I just want to drive and get used to this class mainly on 2WD.
