Yokomo BD7 option parts announced
Following the announcement of the BD7 RS touring car Yokomo introduce several new option parts for the BD7 competition kit. First up are the aeration shock caps that are designed to improve the car’s handling on bumpy tracks. The bleeder screw caps allow rebound adjustments and come including screws and new O-ring seals. Next up are 2 degree and 6 degree C-hubs to adjust the corner entry and corner exit steering characteristics. The 2 degree hubs improve the initial steering reaction and are best suited for tight tracks and also high grip surfaces where traction rolling is an issue. The 6 degree variants though improve mid and corner exit steering and are best used on tracks with high speed corners.
Another suspension option are the different thickness suspension mount spacers. Available as full car sets in 0.5mm, 0.8mm and 1.0mm thickness the specially designed parts allow for easy roll centre adjustments without the need to completely undo the suspension mount screws. Also made for the BD7 touring car is a new thinner upper deck that makes for a slightly more flexible chassis, something than can be of benefit when racing with stock motors or on high-bite surfaces. Included are new mounting screws. Last but not least comes a Yuijiro Umino developed touring car rear wing. The part made from high quality polycarbonate sports different cutting lines for an easy adoption to various sizes and aerodynamic characteristics.
