Tamiya TT-02 & M-05 kit news

Last week we reported about exciting future Tamiya kit released but lacked proper photographs and now Tamiya Japan have released first images of some of the upcoming kits. First up is the Zakspeed Ford Capri Turbo Würth, a replica of the 1980’s Group 5 monster that dominated the German Sportscar Championship, the series that later became the famous DTM. The car builds on the entry-level TT-02 4WD shaft-driven tub chassis and not only features a nicely made Ford Capri Turbo body but also wide off-set multi-spoke rims to up the track width. Included with the kit comes a complete Würth design sticker sheet to mimic the car that ran the 1981 campaign.

Next up is the 1973 Porsche 911 RSR, again on the TT-02 chassis but this time in short wheelbase configuration. Included with the kit comes a clear 911 body with Martini decal sheet and 2-piece “Fuchs” replica off-set wheels. Last but not least comes the GoPro Monster Sport Super Swift on a M-05 front-driven chassis. Coming with 60D radial tyres and a Suzuki Swift body shell with GoPro sticker sheet the kit is meant to replicate Nobuhiro “Monster” Tajima’s Super Swift Project car. The release date for all kits is set for the end of September.
