JBRL Electric Series Rd 8 – Report

The 8th and final Round of the JBRL Electric Series finished off at Jimmy’s home track – Hot Rod Hobbies. In 2WD Modified Buggy Team Associated’s Cody Numedahl came in first, followed by Kyosho’s Cody King and Kevin Motter (Team Associated). Cody also wrapped up the overall 2013 JBRL series championship.

4WD Modified Buggy had Jimmy Barnett taking the win and also the championship for Team Associated, followed by Chris Blaus and Matthew Pages, making it an all-Associated podium at round 8.

2WD Modified truck saw Cody King (Kyosho) walking away with the day’s win in front of Ryan Dunford (TLR) and Kevin Motter (Team Associated) whose 3rd place secured him the overall championship.

Nicolas Blais was the man to beat in 2WD Modified Short Course. He beat Ryan Dunford for the day’s win with Doug “Casper” Nielsen completing the podium. The overall championship went to Cody Turner.

The Expert 4WD Short Course class saw Barry Baker (Tekno) taking the win leaving David Jenson (TLR) and and Tekno team mate Chad Panek in second and third respectively. Barry also wrapped up the overall championship.

8th E-buggy had David Jenson (TLR) walking away with the win. Tekno drivers Rudy Rico and Nicholas Blais finished second and third respectively. Chad Panek took the overall 2013 championship.
