Knapp, Grosse and Ficco win at IIC
The 2013 International Indoor Championship in Las Vegas again saw a huge number of drivers attending in the pan car classes. In 1/12 13.5T CRC’s Andrew Knapp dominated qualifying by winning 3 out of 4 rounds and he also lead the final from wire to wire. The 1/12 17.5T class had Randy Grosse (CRC) taking the win from team mate John Wiita who finished second. In F1, a growing class in the U.S., CRC’s Brian Wynn took TQ with the CRC Works Team Formula 1 prototype and looked like he would easily win the A main until he was taken out in the very last lap by a backmarker handing his team mate Mario Ficco (CRC) the win.
