Mike Malkinson wins TC Stock at WCICS Rd5

Round 5 of the Western Canadian Indoor Championship Series (WCICS) was held by the IROCC and Nanaimo RC in Victoria, BC, Canada. With 220 entries running in 8 different classes, there where 24 entries in Modified Touring Car and 36 in Stock TC. In Stock Touring Car Awesomatix driver Mike Malkinson finished in first place after taking TQ while team mate Frank Bortolazzo finished third.

In the Awesomatix Sponsored Modified Touring car class Team Associated’s Keven Hebert went away with the win, again after taking TQ honours. Kody Knudtson came in second while fellow Awesomatix driver Blake Bell also finished on the podium, despite the fact he was race directing and being a significant part of putting on the event.
