JBRL Electric Series Rd1 – Report
Last weekend the 2014 JBRL Electric Series kicked off at IERC with a record entry of 415. For a single day race event this has to be some sort of world record and shows how well the Electric Off-Road Racing side of the hobby is doing. Jimmy and the JBRL crew did an amazing job of keeping a tight schedule all day and got the races done much sooner than expected considering the massive amount of entries. As for the results in the Modified classes, 4WD Modified Buggy had Brian McDuffie walking away with the win in front of Brian Sullivan and Riley Haagsma.
2WD Modified Buggy saw Barry Baker taking the win from Cody Turner and Brian McDuffie. In the recurring 2WD Modified Truck class Wayne Wyrick came in 1st followed by Jake Mao and Nick Lasley. In Pro4 Short Course young Rudy Rico battled down Barry Baker and Nicholas Blais, who completed the top3. Pro2 Short Course had Cody Turner finishing in 1st place followed by Nicholas Blais and Brendon Larrowe.
