Turner & Cavalieri win at JBRL Rd2
Round 2 of the South Californian Jimmy Babcock Racing League took place last weekend at the Coyote Hobbies Raceway in Victorville. The one day event saw the attendance of Pros and talented local racers alike and had Cody Turner taking the win in the highly contested 2WD Modified Buggy class. TQ Ryan Cavalieri scored a DNF making way for runner-up Cody who left Kevin Motter and Rudy Rico behind.
In the 4WD Modified Buggy class it was again Ryan Cavalieri who took TQ but this time he was able to take profit of his pole position coming in some 16 seconds ahead of Nick Wautlet while Tyler Fenster, who bumped up from the lower main, took the final podium spot.
In Modified Truck TQ Matt Gilbert battled it out with Jako Mayo who finished only 0.6s being Matt in second place. Coming from 7th on the Grid, Andrew Smolnik completed the top 3 result.
In Pro2 Short Course Kevin Motter grabbed TQ but he had to settle for second as bump-up, Cody Turner swept the main in style. Behind the two Kevin Kimberley finished 3rd.
The Pro4 SC class had Rudy Rico taking the overall win leaving David Jenson and Nicholas Blais behind while elsewhere in 1/8th E-Buggy Barry Baker finished the 10 minute main in 1st place a lap ahead of Rudy Rico and Ryan Dunford.
