2014 BeNeLux+ Race – Report
The 2014 BeNeLux+ Race was held last weekend at the MAC de Baanbrekers track in the Netherlands. A total of 102 drivers attended this 4th edition of the race that started on Friday with free practice for all classes. Saturday started off dry and with the running of four qualifying rounds in the five classes of Touring Car Modified, Touring Car Stock, F1, Pro10 Modified and Pro10 Stock. The evening saw the usual BBQ and a drivers party.
Unfortunately the mains Sunday was washed away by the rain with the 5th and final qualifier had to be run on a wet track as was the first leg of finals. At the end Oliver Bultynck came out successful in the Touring Car Modified class. He won the race in front of Nick Joosens and Mitchell van Es.
In Touring Car Stock Dylan Senaeve took the win from Athan de Witte and Martijn van der Heijden who rounded out the podium.
The F1 class was won by Martijn van der Heijden who left Edwin Neijenhof and Krist Bultynck behind in 2nd and 3rd place respectively.
In Pro10 Modified Tobias Weist grabbed the win from Michael Finger in 2nd and Klaus Kolbe in 3rd while Pro10 Stock was won by Reinder Wilms in front of Joost Kuiper and Mathijs Hermens.
