MC-Best Championship Rd11 & 12 – Report

The 11th and 12th round of the MC-Best nitro on-road championship was held in Aigle, Switzerland. The 11th round started out wet on Saturday but once the sun came out the track dried quickly making for good racing conditions. In the 1/8th class Stephan Eschler took the win from Roland Schläpfer and Marc Heim. The 1/10th class had Martin Wenger ending the day in the 1st spot followed by Marcel Knutti and Monika Ackermann.

The Sunday again started out wet but the conditions allowed to run the 12th and final round of the championship. The 1/8th class again had Stephan Eschler walking away with the win, this time in front of Michel Meier and Martin Wenger. In the 1/10th 200mm class Marcel Knutti came out successful in front of Monika Ackermann and Ruben Straub. In the overall championship Stephan Eschler grabbed the title from Beat Heiniger and Roland Schläpfer while in the 200mm class Marcel Knutti secured himself the overall win from Marco Tanner and Nuno Santos.
