MD Racing MDF14 1/10th formula kit
MD Racing introduce the MDF14 1/10th formula kit that has been developed over the past 10 month by Vicente Moreno Machancoses with the support of Toni Alama, Vicente Eres, Hector AlbarracĂn, Jose Argonne, Sasha Klung, Daniel Raimann and Gabor Forray. The pan car features a ball motion called front end design that allows for active camber adjustments to fine-tune steering characteristics in corners. Another parameter to set-up up front is the roll centre, again to adapt the car to various track conditions. Other features include a variable servo system to alter the weight distribution without disturbing Ackermann setting and the car is based on a chassis that can be run with shorty or standard length battery packs with the shorty batteries being placeable in an inline or longitudinal position.
The outer links can be run in three different positions, from parallel up to highly angled to fine-tune the rear traction characteristics while the rear motor pod is of a sliding design with the rear axle inserts being adjustable using long grub screws. Another tuning feature is the ability to run the centre shock absorber in a front or rearward position in order to adjust the car’s behaviour on a variety of track conditions. Included with the kit comes an adjustable ball differential with hard-coated 7075-T6 aluminium parts and external adjustability using an optional tool that does away with the need to partially disassemble the differential to adjust the tightness. Together with the car release MD Racing will issue a range of option parts such as a soft main chassis, a medium soft rear deck, different top decks, as well as a range of titanium options such as a diff shaft, tie rods, front kings and shock absorber shafts.
