Yardy & Cragg win at BRCA 1/10th Buggy Nats Rd4

Eden Park Raceway played host of round 4 of this year’s BRCA 1/10th Electric Off-road Nationals this past weekend. In the 2WD class Tom Yardy took the TQ position from Richard Lowe and Simon Moss. Ellis Stafford and Neil Cragg rounded out the top 5 result. The 4WD category saw Ellis Stafford coming on the top spot with Lee Martin and Neil Cragg in tow. Tom Yardy in 4th and Kevin Lee in 5th rounded out the top 5 qualifying result.

In the 2WD finals Tom Yardy (Team Associated) made a clean sweep by winning all three A-mains to take the overall win of round 4. Neil Cragg (Team Associated) and Ellis Stafford (TLR) ended the final legs tie on points with the tie-breaker handing Neil the runner-up spot from Ellis. Lee Martin came in 4th, Richard Lowe completed the top 5 result.

The 4WD finals were a more dramatic affair for the TQ holder. A1 was won by Neil Cragg (Team Associated) while Ellis Stafford (TLR), starting from pole position, stroke back in the 2nd A-final. 2nd in both finals was Lee Martin (Yokomo), who was still in the mix for the top position. In the last and decisive A-final Neil Cragg secured the overall victory by coming in 1st from Kevin Lee, while Lee Martin scored a 3rd place and Ellis only came in 4th. Behind Neil, Ellis and Lee ended up tie on points with the tie-breaker handing the runner-up spot to Ellis Stafford while Lee Martin rounded out the top 3 result.
