Belgium/Dutch Buggy Championship Rd8 – Report
The eighth and final round of the combined Belgium/Dutch Electric Off-road Championship was held at the MIO indoor carpet track in Oss. A total of 111 racers attended the championship that was held on a variety tracks including indoor and outdoor clay, astro turf and carpet. At the end, Wesley van Helmond dominated the Dutch 2WD title with his TLR 22 2.0 followed by Arjan van de Graaf, driving a Yokomo B-Max2 and Tom van Drunen (Team Associated B5M) and Wesley would also take the combined Belgium/Dutch title.
In 4WD it was Dominique van Helmond who could put himself on the highest step of the Dutch podium with his TLR 22-4, followed by Jack Box with his HB D413 and Jan Beks with a Team Associated B44.2.
On the Belgium podium, it was Wouter Wynen in 2WD (Team Associated B5M) followed by Bruno Heremans piloting a Team Associated B5M and Nicolas Risser with a Team C TC02C Evo.
In 4WD, it was Brent Ausloos (Schumacher Cat K1) who grabbed the Belgium title from David Pauwels (Yokomo B-Max4) and Marco Briers (Team Associated B44.3) in second and third respectively. In the combined championship it was again Brent who was also able to take the title.
