Team Durango DETC410v2 touring car kit
Team Durango have introduced the DETC410v2 1/10th 4WD touring car kit. The refined version features some subtle changes that will improve precision, consistency and overall track performance with the car still being based on a carbon fibre double deck chassis with aluminium bulkheads but the suspension components are made of a stiffer composite material with increased carbon fibre content for reduced flex especially on high-grip surfaces and in high ambient temperatures. Beside the new material A-arms, hubs and steering knuckles the v2 will also include softer standard composite parts to allow a wide range of setup adjustments when conditions call for it. Other new composite parts include precision ball cups with removed unwanted play and also the suspension hanger inserts have received a make-over with the new parts offering even higher precision.
Other v2 parts include a new differential cross shaft with revised tolerances, all-new diff O-ring seals for smoother, leak-free operation and the kit will include 100T and 86T stock racing spur gears beside the standard 116T modified class main gear. Another parts of the car that received a make-over is the new anti-tweak motor and layhaft mount whose updated design prevents permanent tweak during building, setup and maintenance. The kit is rounded out by updated composite spool outdrives for improved durability.
