Tessmann & Cavalieri win at 1st annual SikCross
The first annual SikCross was held this past weekend at Pro-line’s test facility in Banning, California. Levi Jackson was promising to bring supercross to RC with a brand new event, totally different than any other format in RC. Practice, seeding, qualifying was supercross style with side by side, heads up racing and at the end it was HB’s Ty Tessmann who would come out successful in the 1/8th Pro Buggy class from Team Associated’s Ryan Cavalieri and Kyosho’s Cody King.
In the Pro Nitro Truggy class Ryan Cavalieri came out successful piloting a prototype Team Associated truggy while TQ Ty Tessmann (HB) had to settle for second. Ryan Lutz (Tekno) would round out the top 3 result. The Pro E-Buggy class had Ryan Lutz (Tekno) coming out fastest after the qualifiers but it was Tekno team mate Joe Bornhorst who would grab the overall win with Ryan Cavalieri (Team Associated) completing the top 3 result.
