Dustin Evans dominates NW Astro Invitational

The 2015 North-West Astro Invitational was hosted by NW Hobbies in Albany, Oregon this past weekend. Run in several classes including Invitational 2WD Modified Buggy and 4WD Modified Buggy  the event attracted both local talent and internationally experienced drivers. In the Invitational class, run in a Reedy format, TLR’s Dustin Evans would make a clean sweep to take the win from Tanner Day (Kyosho) and Robert Bakoczy (Schumacher). Casey Vitale (Schumacher) and Andy DiBrino (Kyosho) would round out the top 5 result.

In the 4WD Modified Buggy class it was again Dustin Evans (TLR) who would set the pace and after grabbing the TQ in the qualifiers he would also come out successful in the A-main to take his second title of the weekend from Harley Yoshii (Team Associated) on the runner-up spot and Brand Borneil (Yokomo) in third.
