Hanna doubles at Thanksgiving Showdown race
Speed RC of Charlotte, NC recently held their Thanksgiving Showdown race that attracted a total of 109 entries. In the 2WD Pro Buggy class Max Flurer came out fastest after the triple qualifiers from Robert W. Meyer Jr. and Griffin Hanna. In the A-main the top 3 would put a small gap on the field and TQ Max would lead Robert and Griff around for the first few laps. The three would trade positions numerous times and while this was going on, home town young Allex Mueller caught the three and made a charge to the front. He and Griff mixed it up a few laps and after the dust settled, Griffin was able to take the checkered flag with the win. In the 4WD class Griffin Hanna took the overall TQ after the qualifiers and in the A-main he found himself in a battle with young gun Levi Jakson, but Levi had to retire early with mechanical issues and that would allow Griff to grab his second win of the weekend.
