Philipp Walleser wins at MRC Winter Series Rd5
The fifth and final round of the MRC Winter Series was held in Longwy, France over the weekend. As usual the 10.5T Touring Stock class was the most popular, attracting over 40 drivers. Philipp Walleser would be on a mission as he not only took the TQ and the pole position for the finals but he would also come out successful in the triple A-mains to grab the overall win while scoring the fastest lap of the class in the progress. Behind him, Dirk Rischard and Jan Bickendorf completed the podium result in second and third respectively. Another driver to set the TQ, grab the win and score the fastest lap was young Julian Garbi in the Rookie class. He would leave Dryss Faivre and Raphael Brassart behind in second and third respectively.
