Rinderknecht & Vanderbeek win at AE Summer Series

Round 2 of the Team Associated Summer Series at the Hobby Plex in Omaha, NE had another good turnout, with 177 entrants competing on a fast and technical layout. Racers from Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, and Minnesota were on hand to battle it out for the top steps of the podium, and a chance to advance in the points standings. Alex Vanderbeek and Tom Rinderknecht took victories in all three of the premier Modified classes. Tom set the TQ in Mod 4WD, and took a commanding win over the field, “throwing big whips along the way,” in his words.

Alex Vanderbeek started P2 in both Mod Buggy and Mod Truck. He took the lead early in Truck and lapped through fourth on his way to a big win and in Mod Buggy Alex Vanderbeek was able to make some moves in the first few minutes of the race and drive away from the field to take another victory.
