Sanwa Super Vortex Gen2 & Stock Type speedos
During this week’s Shizuoka Hobby Show in Japan Sanwa have introduced the new Super Vortex Gen2 and Super Vortex Stock Type brushless speed controllers. Starting with the Super Vortex Gen2, the controller is the follow-up model of the Super Vortex Zero and features SSR and SSL compatibility, it can make use of the Code 10 feature for M12S and Exzes ZZ radios and it also sports improved telemetry functions. All that is housed in a new all-aluminium case and the controller is fully programmable using Sanwa’s optional programming box.
As for the Super Vortex Stock Type, like the Gen2 the controller is SSR, SSL and Code 10 compatible, it utilises a black anodised all-alloy case and features special Boosted class software functions such as punch, feel, turbo, boost start and boost acceleration. Included is also a fan unit with 30mm and 25mm types being usable thanks to two different mounting patterns.
Another forthcoming Sanwa product is the HVS-702 high-voltage low-profile servo. Usable with 6.0V to 7.4V input it pulls up to 8.6kg-cm at a speed of down to 0.10s while weighing it at 44g. The servo measures 40.5x21x26.5mm and like the controller it should hit the stores soon.
