Exotek introduce new XB2 carbon fibre & alloy options

Exotek have introduced new carbon fibre and aluminium option parts for the Xray XB2 2WD buggy. First up is a 2.5mm carbon fibre bottom plate fitting both the carpet and dirt spec kits. Quasi weave construction insures proper stiffness while the lightweight material makes this chassis weigh in at only 84 grams, 42 grams lighter than stock. The bottom plate is a direct replacement for the stock part.

The second new optional is an aluminium steering plate. Machined from 7075 alloy the plate’s ball link mount position has been raised to reduce the bump steer of the stock piece without the need of added spacers under the plate. Built in machined “shims” make installation easier by further reducing the parts count and the reinforced alloy construction allows for trouble free performance. The part fits both the carpet and dirt spec kits and it comes polished and anodised in factory black or orange. Last but not least comes the front roll centre mount. Machined from high-quality 7075 alloy the camber/roll centre mount offers extra machining to reduce weight while offering high durability due to its reinforced design. The mount is available in factory black or orange colour.
