Reno Savoya TQs & wins French Buggy Nats Rd4
Round four of the French Nitro Off-road Nationals was held this past weekend at the CARCA track near Noeux les Mines. Home track of the Sartel family the location offers a nice and technical track that also hosted the recent TLR Cup. TLR’s Reno Savoya was the driver to beat this weekend, taking the firt four qualifying rounds to take the overall TQ from Jean-Pierrick Sartel (TLR) who scored the fastest time in Q5 to take the 2 spot. The semis were then won by Reno Savoya and Jerome Aigoin (Kyosho) with the faster time handing Reno the pole position for the main final. In the 45 minute A-main, Reno would be in the lead for almost the whole race while his main contenders, Yannick and Jerome Aigoin faced engine problems, denying them podium finishes. Instead young Thomas Musso (TLR) would grab the runner-up spot from Jean-Pierrick while Jerome Sartel (TLR) rounded out an all-TLR top 4.
