Yokomo YR-10 hard chassis, arm collars & RP rotors
Yokomo have introduced a truck load of new parts for the YR-10 formula kit as well as optional rotors for the Racing Performer brushless motors. Starting with the YR-10 options, first up is a hard graphite main chassis plate. Featuring the same design and thickness as the original chassis the part is made from much harder carbon fibre, making for decreased flex and thus improved handling on high-bite surfaces. The chassis is a direct replacement and usable on both carpet and asphalt tracks.
Next up are three different front upper and lower arm collars for the YR-10. Machined from aluminium and coming as 1.0 degree and 1.5 degree upper as well as general lower part, the collars offer improved rigidity and durably while also being more precise than the stock parts. Last but not least come two new optional rotors for Yokomo’s Racing Performer brushless motors. The RP-050 is made for 13.5T and 17.5T Boosted Touring racing on short tracks. It is also good for the use in 1/12th Modified, Touring Sedan Modified and Buggy racing when higher RPM are needed. The second new rotor is the RP-051, a again aimed at 13.5T and 17.5T Boosted racing the rotor is best used on long tracks. Both rotors come with laser-etched markings on the pinion shaft for easy identification.
