BRCA 1/8 Electric On-road National Rd6 – Report
The sixth round of the BRCA 1/8 Electric On-road National series took place last weekend at the Wombwell Model Car Club. During Saturday’s practice the grip was surprisingly good for a dusty unused Wombwell circuit, Alex Thurston was leading the practice times and it looked set to be another display of domination by the young chap from Coalville. On Sunday the weather was to remain warm and dry, with it becoming slightly over cast towards the end of the day. After four rounds of qualifying the Electric A final saw Alex starting from the pole position with Frank Dambrine on the 2 spot and Paul Bellinger rounding out the top 3.

Heading into the finals on Sunday it was Alex Thurston taking tone to tone wins in both finals taking home maximum points from the weekend. Frank Dambrine was able to conserve the overall 2 spot while Mathew Baker moved up one spot on his qualifying result to take the final podium spot.
